Styles of Music Video

A music video is a small film that contains images and music produced by artist to promote themselves or an upcoming album. there are many styles of music video. List Shown Below:

  • Animation 
  • Narrative
  • Live/Concert
  • Parody
Studio Performances
studio performances is when a music video is being shot in a controlled environment (studio). A studio contains many props, costumes, green screen and lighting. 

Animation
animation is when a music video is being created with much more technology such as special effects of cartoon people or cartoon props.
Narrative
Narrative is the way the story is organised in film, tv shows or music videos.
Live/Concert
this is when a song is being displayed to a live audience instead of an music video where it can be viewed on electrical devices such as phones, laptops and many more.
Parody
This is when music video has already been released however a third party would make another video with a request to the artist. A parody is when the third party uses the same idea as the artist however they make it their own.
